Nokton" is a different kind of work from the usual
Kaito's new conceptual album.
It has been six years since the last album, "Until the end of time", and this is the prologue to the new Kaito start, in which the emotions I want to express now are expressed through a single instrument.

The album title, Nokton, means night.
The sunset of the day, when the human heart is especially shaken
It is sometimes intense, tender, wistful, sad, warm, and a special space-time that shakes the heart.
When the sound connects with our own consciousness, when perfect synchronization has sprung up
For the first time, sound is infused with soul and breath.
It may be that I wanted to see myself exposed through sound.
It can be said to be a return to the origin.
Nokton is an album made from such thoughts.

Kaito's sixth full-length album is already ready to go, but we'd like to start off with this one as a prologue to the restarts.

One of the most unique releases of the past, this is not just an ambient album, but represents a melancholic soundscape that inspires emotion.

The sound that I wanted to engrave the proof that I am alive now.

Noktonと題した今作品はいつもとは中身の違った
コンセプチュアルなKaitoのニューアルバム。
前作 Until the end of timeから既に6年が経ち今表現したい感情を一台の楽器を通じて露わにすべく挑んだ新生Kaitoスタートの序章。

アルバムタイトルのNoktonは夜を意味し、
人の心が特に揺さぶられる日の沈んだ時間、
それは時に、激しく、優しく、切なく、悲しく、暖かく、心の揺らぐ特別な時空。
自らの意識と音がコネクトし完全同期が芽生えた時、
初めて音には魂と息吹が吹き込まれる。
音を通じて自分を丸裸にして見たくなったのかも知れない。
原点回帰とも言える。
Noktonとはそんな思いから出来上がったアルバム。

次に繋がるKaitoの6作目となるフルアルバムは既に楽曲も出揃い準備も出来上がる段階にある中、再始動をする序章としてこの作品を先ずは打ち出しておきたい。

過去のリリースの中でも最も異色な今作は単なるアンビエントではなく、
感情を揺さぶりつけるメランコリックなサウンドスケープ。

いま生きている証しを刻み込みたかった音。
